CGA Periodic Review of Service Providers
CGA is very proud of its service providers with whom there has been a long-standing relationship delivering high-quality support to our sport, clubs and members.
Notwithstanding this, CGA needs to ensure that it follows the principles of good governance, including the documentation of procurement processes and regular reviews of the arrangements, to ensure that we continue to get best value and, where possible, make improvements.
With this in mind, the CGA Executive has decided to review the existing arrangements for the provision of the following services:
- Security at Ellis Park
- Catering at swimming galas and other events
- Medical services at swimming galas and other events
- DJ/Announcing for swimming galas
- Accounting services
- Apparel (kit) for national competitions
The first stage of the review is to seek expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers. We are particularly seeking interest from existing CGA service providers and individuals or companies connected with sport, particularly aquatics, in the City of Johannesburg but will also consider all communications received.
Once expressions of interest have been received, an individual process will be determined for each service and all applicants advised accordingly. Final decisions will be made by the Executive (or General Meeting in respect of Accounting services) and all documentation relating to the process will be retained by CGA.
Initial expressions of interest regarding each of the services listed above should be sent by email to me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and copied to the CGA administrator (email@example.com) by 9am on Monday 5th February 2018.
Any enquiries should be addressed to me at the above email address.
